Moving Up! 6-9 Reconfiguration 

At its regular monthly meeting on Aug. 6, the Board of Education approved moving up the timetable for changing over to 6-7-8 middle schools and four-year high schools. The district was able to take advantage of the slowed economy to gain efficiencies in both construction costs and timelines, which meant the four high school additions now underway will be completed a year early-in August 2010.
