SAVE THE DATE!!!

On Saturday, September 12, 2009 the Olathe District Schools
Alumni Association will sponsor its first Alumni Open House and Dance at St.
Paul's Catholic Church in Olathe. The Open House will be after the Old Settlers'
Parade from approximately 2-4 p.m. From 7-11 p.m., we will sponsor a dance with
snacks and a Cash Bar. Only alums and their guests are invited to
attend.

Dear Classmates;
In our attempt to resurrect the Alumni Association
and re-introduce ourselves to all alums, we are organizing the above event.
Realizing that this weekend is also Old Settlers' Weekend, we thought it would
be a great time to hold an annual or bi-annual Open House/Dance.

The dance
will be an ALUMS AND GUESTS ONLY event, with a $10 cover charge at the door. We
will have records at the door to verify graduates and will also be strictly
monitoring minors. Anyone under the age of 21 will be identified in some way.

Well, in another year we will be celebrating our 30-year reunion. Wow! Boy, it
doesn't seem like it. I remember our motto in grade school, if some of you
remember when we went to Fairview Elementary. This is how it goes: 8-0 may be

this year. This year we are bringing back the Grad Panel, an event in which
past graduates come back to the high school for a morning and talk to current
Olathe East students about post-graduate life!

But what's in it for you? In
return for contributing just one hour during Seminar on Thursday, January 11,

currently a conductor in residence in New York's Carnegie Hall.
