Two Olathe Schools Among Most Challenging High Schools

May 9, 2017 ~ The 2017 America's Most Challenging High Schools ranking was recently published by "The Washington Post" and featured two Olathe high schools. In the state of Kansas, Olathe Northwest High School received the No. 8 ranking while Olathe North High School ranked No. 12.

"We are incredibly proud of this accolade for both Olathe North and Olathe Northwest high schools," Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning Jessica Dain said. "This type of academic excellence demonstrates a steadfast dedication to rigorous learning opportunities and the students, teachers and administrators are to be celebrated for the exemplary work taking place in these classrooms every day."

Being placed on the 2017 America's Most Challenging High Schools list means that Olathe Northwest and Olathe North are in the top 15 percent nationally.
